BRITAIN’s Got Talent fans have figured out magician Ben Hart £20 trick as one viewer claimed she dosed off during the gig.

Simon Cowell was unimpressed and many fans scoffed at the 28-year-old’s latest trick, claiming he used a rubber thumb to make the note disappear.

Ben asked Amanda Holden to sign the paper note first and then said he’d blow life into it before he twisted it into an origami butterfly.

The Brit magician, who appeared on the show in June, then made it levitate between the palm of his hands.

But Simon wasn’t having any of it as he told Ben last night: “First of all thank you for coming back.

“But let me be honest with you Ben, when you are competing with the best in the world, having gone through the show this year, you’ve gotta up your game. You didn’t in my opinion.

“In fact it was not as good as what you did a few months ago. You have amazing imagination Ben for whatever reason you played it safe tonight.

“I’m not voting but I don’t think that’s enough to get you through to the final.”

Many fans agreed on Twitter agreed, saying: “#BGTTheChampions #benhart oh no, not the old rubber fake thumb trick again! Well done @SimonCowell telling the truth.”

While another fan moaned: “Oh Ben Hart, i loved you this year but I nearly dozed off during that trick”

And another even shared photo instructions of how to use the rubber thumb and said: “Did that ‘magician’ just do the plastic thumb trick?”

And one more raved on Twitter: “Had the £20 quid ‘Palmed’ in his hand All through that trick !!”

Though judges Amanda, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams disagreed with Simon and viewers were unable to explain how the £20 note ended up in a light bulb.

This isn’t the first time Ben has been caught out – his impressive shrinking playing cards magic trick in June’s Britain’s Got Talent live final was also exposed by eagle-eyed fans.

Cynics think the large playing card was key to Ben’s sleight of hand

The judges and viewers at home were left impressed when he seemingly made the deck get smaller and smaller until it disappeared, but cynics have now shared how they think he did the trick.

During his act earlier this evening, Ben told the story of how he first got into magic, recalling a trick that his grandfather had shown him in India.

He then carried out the exact same trick, shrinking a regular set of cards until they eventually turned into dust.

Ben put aside one card at the start of the show, bringing it up after each transition for comparison – and viewers think that this was integral to pulling off the act.

Taking to social media, they have argued that the hopeful was using incredibly precise sleight of hand to swap each deck for a smaller one during this moment.
