BRITAIN’S Got Talent winner Lost Voice Guy is very impressed by Simon Cowell’s recent slimdown.
In an exclusive chat with The Sun Online ahead of his Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions debut tomorrow night, the disabled comic revealed his thoughts on the judge’s newly trim physique.
“He is looking very fit!” Lost Voice Guy, whose real name is Lee Ridley, said of the music mogul, who recently lost one and a half stone after embarking on a vegan diet.
Funny man Lee, 38, who won the 2018 series of BGT, is unable to speak after being born with cerebral palsy.
He communicates via an iPad and will return to the famous stage tomorrow to try and repeat his previous winning feat.
“It will be cheeky, mischievous and most of all very funny,” he said of what’s in store on the show. “I have got some surprises up my sleeve and I am definitely going to make a big entrance, but you will just have to watch it and see.”
As for how he fancies his chances, Lost Voice Guy says he is confident but knows it will be hard – especially after favourite Paul Potts crashed out last week.
“I don’t think I would be here at all if I didn’t think I could win,” he revealed. “But obviously it will be much more difficult because I am going up against the best of the best. I will have to be on top form.”
Asked about his biggest competition, he added: “I have always been really impressed with [America’s Got Talent mime act] Tape Face. I have seen him perform a few times and he always blows me away.”
As for how his life has changed since winning the talent juggernaut, Lost Voice Guy believes he has changed people’s perception of disabled people.
“One of the best things to have happened since I won is that people are engaging with me a lot more than they would have in the past,” he explained.

“For the first time they seem comfortable talking to a disabled person. I am used to being stared at for negative reasons so it’s nice to be stared at for positive reasons for a change.”
Lost Voice Guy will go head to head with the likes of America’s Got Talent ventriloquist Paul Zerdin and daredevil duo Deadly Games on tomorrow night’s show.
